There is always wildlife to be seen at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve (PWNR) but autumn and spring are particularly good times of the year with the arrival of many birds from far off countries; and if you are really lucky you may see one of our roe deer or even a water vole.
Sometimes it can be hard to identify what you see without expert guidance so we can offer just that, whether you are part of a group who is planning their own walk on the reserve or you would like to join a walk organised by the Friends of Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve.
1. FOR GROUPS PLANNING THEIR OWN WALK AROUND THE RESERVE
If your group is planning a walk around Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve and would like one of our wildlife experts to accompany you to help identify the wildlife please email us at email@example.com.
a) We will follow the instructions given by the leader of the group.
b) We assume that we will be covered under the group’s own Risk Assessment and Public Liability insurance unless told otherwise.
c) We will point out wildlife on your walk, though cannot guarantee what you will see as wildlife is unpredictable and varies depending on the time of year.
2. TO JOIN OR BOOK A WALK ORGANISED BY THE Friends of PWNR
If you would like to join one of our organised walks or would like us to organise a walk for you please email us a firstname.lastname@example.org and sign up to our mailing list to receive email notifications of any such walks.
a) Walkers joining an organised walk agree to follow the instructions of the leader but nevertheless take full responsibility for their actions.

e) We will point out wildlife on the walk though cannot guarantee what you will see as wildlife is unpredictable and varies depending on the time of year.
